In this guide, we’ll go over how to add a vehicle to a lot’s ban list. Enforcement officers will be able to see if a vehicle is on the ban list when scanning a license plate, and act accordingly.
To start, open your Smart Parking Enforcement app and select the “Audit” tab.
This will bring up a list of all the vehicles registered at your current site. To change your site, use the icon in the very top right corner of the screen to access every site you’ve been assigned. Once you’ve selected the correct site, click on the “Plus” icon to open a dropdown menu of options, then, select the prohibition icon.
This will open the site’s list of banned vehicles, and allow you to add a new vehicle to that list by using the “Add” button in the top right corner of the screen.
This will prompt you to fill out a form with the details of the banned vehicle including the plate number, state/province of the license plate, end date of the ban, and any notes about the ban that other enforcement officers or property managers will see. Note that while you need to set an end date, you can make the ban effectively permanent by setting the date hundreds or even thousands of years into the future.
Once you’ve finished your form, press the “Submit” button to finalize the ban and upload it to the system.
