Some sites will have signage with QR codes that allow you to access the Smart Parking web portal and book the lot online. 

To start, approach the sign with the QR code at your site and scan it with your smartphone. To do this you can either use a specialized QR code scanner app, or simply use your phone’s camera. Most up-to-date smartphones will have this functionality.

Scanning the QR code will bring you to the Smart Parking web portal, and bring up a form asking about the details of the pass you’re registering for. 

First you’ll need to enter your email address, then you can proceed to the reservation details. Enter your license plate number and the state/province, then choose how long you want to book the lot for from the dropdown menus in increments of hours, minutes, or days respectively. You can also choose whether you want your booking to begin immediately, or at a later date/time.

Once you’ve finished filling out your form, click on “Register Vehicle” to finalize your reservation. You’ll know that your booking was processed correctly when you’re greeted with the “Success” screen reviewing the details of your reservation.
