In this guide, we’ll go over how to use the Smart Parking website to book your lot. While you can scan QR codes on-site to book a lot, using the website allows you to book in advance, or simply gives you another option if you’re unable to scan the QR code for any reason. Note: this guide walks you through the steps on a computer, but the process is the same on a mobile device.
To start, from the dashboard, click on the circular “Get Visitor Pass” button.
This will bring up a page with a search bar where you can enter your lot’s ID in order to search for it. The lot ID should be displayed on the signage at the lot, and may consist of numbers or letters.
Once you’ve entered the lot ID, press the blue + icon to search for the lot.
If you’ve entered a valid lot ID, you will be redirected to a form you will need to fill out in order to book the lot successfully.
This form will first ask for your information (name, email, and phone number), as well as your vehicle’s license plate number and state. Providing your contact information is optional.
Next, you’ll have to provide details about your booking. You’ll be asked to enter the lot’s access code if one exists, then how long you’d like to book the lot.
You can increase the duration of your booking through the dropdown menus labeled minutes, hours, and days. You can also choose to have your booking start at a later date or time by clicking on the “Book Later” button.
If you’re booking a paid lot, you’ll also be asked to enter your payment information at this stage. If you already have a credit card saved to your account, this information will be filled in for you.
Once you’ve finished with the form, press “Register Vehicle” to finalize your pass.
You’ll know you’ve successfully completed your booking if you’re met with a final confirmation screen which will review the details of your pass and allow you to access your receipt.
