In this guide, we’ll go over how to create and manage enforcement requests using Smart Parking. Enforcement requests are shared with your enforcement team to call attention to violations you find, allowing them to act quicker.
To begin, click on “Management” on the left of your screen which will display a dropdown menu. From this menu, select the “Enforcement Requests” tab.
From here, you’ll see all of the enforcement requests that you’ve issued previously. To create new request, press the blue “New Enforcement Request” button in the top right corner which will bring up a short form for you to fill out.
Once the form appears, select the site at which you want to issue the request, then add your request to the text box just below that. Here you might detail the reason for the request, as well as information about the offending vehicle like license plate number, make, and model.
Once you’ve completed the form, press “Submit” to see your new enforcement request listed among the others.
To manage enforcement requests instead of creating a new one, click on the three-dot menu which will allow you to view the request’s details, mark it as complete, or delete the request. Note that while you are unable to edit a request from this menu, you can delete and re-submit a request quickly as the form is short.
