Creating and Managing Parkers

In this guide, we’ll touch on how to manually register new parkers, building them a profile within your Smart Parking site where you can see important information on them, their vehicles, and more.

To begin, start by accessing the site at which you want to register a new parker from the Dashboard or the “Territories and Sites” button.

Once you’ve reached the site at which you wish to register a parker, choose the “Parkers and Units” option from the menu on the left side of your screen. From here, you can choose to manually enter parkers using the blue “Add Parker” button in the top right corner of your screen, or alternatively, you may use the “Upload Parkers” button in the top left corner to import a spreadsheet which will auto-generate parkers based on the information you enter. There is a template and guide attached to the “Upload Parkers” tab, so for this guide, I’ll choose to manually add a parker.

After pressing “Add Parker,” a form will appear asking for basic information about the parker. Fill out this form and assign them a unit and status (approved, pending, or archived). While the email field is optional, entering the parker’s email will send them an invitation to log in and manage their vehicles by themselves as opposed to having you do this manually.

Once you’ve filled out the information on the form, press submit to see your new parker listed among all other existing parkers on your site.

If you want to edit an existing parker’s profile instead of creating a new one, once again navigate to the “Parkers and Units” on your desired site, and click on the parker’s name on the left to edit their profile (vehicles list, citation history, unit assignment, etc.), or the three-dot menu on the right to access admin functions (resetting passwords, removing parkers, deactivating accounts, etc.)
