Extending a parking pass is easy using the Smart Parking app. It takes seconds to add time to your pass, so if you’re out for a little bit longer than you expected, you can update your pass with just the press of a few buttons. 

First, select the “My Passes” page from your app’s dashboard at the bottom of your screen. 

The “My Passes” page will display all of your currently active passes. To extend the time of a pass, press the green “Add Time” button underneath the specific pass you want to extend. 

The next page will display your pass’ information, and allow you to change the expiration time of your pass, allowing you to extend it by up to 24 hours at a time. You can do this by pressing the expiration time which will bring up a list of alternative times ascending in increments of 1 hour at which you can set the pass to end.

To confirm this change, press the button below the pass’ duration to add the desired amount of time. After this, there will be one final confirmation screen. Make sure to review all of the details of your pass before finalizing the extension - especially at paid lots as the price of your pass is subject to change if you change its duration. 

Once you see the “Success” screen, you will know that your pass’ extension has been finalized and submitted.
