User Roles inside Smart Parking

Here is a breakdown of the roles that are available inside Smat Parking and what they have access to:

 

Admin

Admins are at the top of the chain, they can manage all roles, users, territories, sites, lots, passes, citations etc. Admin privileges are not granted to anyone unless needed in your own Smart Parking Server

 

Territory Managers

Territory managers are responsible for a granted territory of sites (multiple sites). If your company operates in different cities or states, you may have managers for each territory and they can each have their own account. This account can:

  • Manage Users below their role level
  • Manage sites, appoint property managers and enforcement personel
  • Manage lots, passes, residents, etc.
  • Manage VIP & Banned Vehicles
  • Send announcements
  • Manage citations and related enforcement integrations
  • View and generate reports
  • Access coupon management

Property Managers

Property managers are the most commonly used role in Smart Parking other than parkers, each site has a property manager (a property manager can have multiple sites) and they have access to the following:

  • Manage sites
  • Manage lots, passes, residents, etc.
  • Manage VIP & Banned Vehicles
  • Send announcements
  • View and generate reports
  • Access coupon management

 

Enforcement supervisor

Enforcement supervisors are in a different category of users, as they have access to all the enforcement portion of Smart Parking Apps such as:

  • Managing enforcement officers
  • Performing audits
  • Accessing permitted & banned vehicles
  • Managing citations
  • Creating passes
  • Sending announcements

 

Enforcement Officers

Enforcement officers, also known as guards, can do the following:

  • Performing audits
  • Accessing permitted & banned vehicles
  • Managing citations
  • Creating passes
  • Sending announcements
